HNMCP Director Rachel Viscomi had a great time chatting with Diego Faleck and Chico Mussinich from the Harvard Law School Association do Brasil “Friday Talks” podcast.

Viscomi reflected on the importance of being in alignment with what we want to build in the world and on showing up to difficult conversations able to hold complexity and nuance. She discussed how the Dispute System Design Clinic works—including a story about a recent project with the Brazilian judiciary—and its primary mission of teaching students how to engage conflict and build systems in ways that creates value and understanding for all stakeholders. She also touched on her writing around power and conflict resolution as seen in “Star Wars,” trends in negotiation at Harvard, and the best advice she’s ever been given.
