This project will engage the questions around the potential establishment of ICWA/child custody courts for recently federally-recognized Native American tribes. The focus will be on conducting secondary research into existing ICWA/child custody court models, and will include interviews with experts (in the field of Native American law and tribal courts) and community stakeholders (tribal leaders, tribal court judges, community members).
