The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is dedicated to improving people’s lives in Asia and the Pacific.

The ADB Office of the Ombudsperson (OOMP) is available to all ADB employees to help foster collaboration and to enhance efficient, informal conflict resolution within the organization.
HNMCP students will assess ADB employees’ understanding of OOMP’s role within ADB to ensure the outreach of the office is targeted and meaningful. The project will also explore how staff currently approach dispute resolution within ADB, including preferences for informal and formal channels as well as perceptions of how the Ombudsperson function relates to formal channels.
Activities and deliverables:
- Develop a mechanism for:
- Soliciting feedback about current satisfaction levels for the OOMP
- Measuring expectations for its services
- Understanding attitudes towards issues such as effectiveness, trustworthiness, independence and confidentiality
- A replicable data collection process to set a benchmark
- A report with analysis from the feedback
- A presentation to stakeholders
