CPR award-winning paper published this month

The International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR) selected “Building a Latin American Coalition on Forests: Negotiation Barriers and Opportunities,” a paper written by Maria Banda ’10 and John Oppermann ’10, to be the recipient of its 2010 Original Student Article or Paper Award at its annual awards banquet in January 2011 at the New York offices of Fulbright & Jaworski LLP. The paper was published as the lead article this month in the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law.

This paper was an independent writing project for Prof. Bordone’s Spring 2010 Negotiation Workshop course and he nominated the paper to the CPR.
